Tam Ky Ward Veterans Association builds 12 bridges for people

Over the past 5 years, members of the Tam Ky Ward Veterans Association have donated more than 400 square meters of land to open roads, mobilized the construction of 12 bridges worth more than 720 million VND, and contributed hundreds of working days to dredge canals, build concrete roads in rural areas and urban alleys, contributing to the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

In the period of 2020 - 2025, the Ward Veterans Association coordinated with the Youth Union to organize 30 traditional talks and 17 trips to the source with the participation of thousands of union members, youth and students. Many "Smart Mass Mobilization" models were effectively implemented, creating a spreading effect in the community.

Members actively participate in the movement "All people protect national security", maintain patrols to maintain order, build self-management models, contribute to maintaining political security, social order and safety in the area. In particular, veteran members of Tam Ky ward actively participate in gratitude work, mobilize donations to support the construction of gratitude houses, visit families of policy beneficiaries, war invalids and martyrs with an amount of hundreds of millions of VND.

Mr. Do Quang - Chairman of the Tam Ky Ward Veterans Association said that in the coming time, the association will continue to maintain and promote the nature of Uncle Ho's soldiers, build a strong and comprehensive association organization; strive to develop new members, improve the quality of association activities, promote patriotic emulation movements associated with building a smart and livable ward. At the same time, focus on innovating working methods, taking care of members' lives, actively participating in patriotic emulation movements, accompanying the Party Committee, government and people, making positive contributions to the sustainable development of the locality.
