7-seat car collided with tractor trailer, 3 children and 4 adults were injured

A serious accident between a 7-seat car and a tractor-trailer in Da Nang City left many injured and hospitalized.

Initial information provided to Tuoi Tre Online by the leader of the People's Committee of Tam Xuan Commune, Da Nang City, at around 0:30 on October 12, at km 53+300 of DT619 road (also known as Vo Chi Cong road) in Diem Dien village, Tam Xuan commune, a serious traffic accident occurred between a tractor trailer and a 7-seat car.

At that time, the tractor with license plate 77C-070... pulling a trailer with license plate 77R-005... driven by Mr. DVH (53 years old, residing in An Nhon Bac ward, Gia Lai ) was traveling from Da Nang city to Quang Ngai province when it collided with a 7-seat car with license plate 92H-09... driven by Mr. D.D.D. (37 years old, residing in Quang Ngai) traveling in the opposite direction.

As a result, 7 people in the car were injured and taken to Quang Nam General Hospital for emergency treatment.

Information from the hospital, the Emergency Department received 7 victims with multiple injuries.

The victims included: D.TAN (11 months old), D.BR (18 months old), D.Y R. (6 years old), D.VP (33 years old), HB (35 years old), D.D.D. (37 years old) and D.TT (40 years old, all residing in Son Ha commune, Quang Ngai).

Immediately after receiving the victims, the hospital activated the red alert to provide timely emergency treatment.

The victims were taken to Quang Nam General Hospital for treatment.

Among the victims, there was a girl born in 2024 with severe closed head trauma, poor prognosis, had surgery by doctors, and is continuing to be monitored.

The remaining victims suffered multiple injuries, after examination and basic surgery, are stable and are being actively monitored at the hospital.

The leaders of the Da Nang Department of Health also directed the hospital to do its best to treat the victims.

It is known that the victims were all ethnic minorities in Son Ha commune, Quang Ngai, departing from Quang Ngai to Da Nang city. They were on Vo Chi Cong street, passing through Tam Xuan commune when the accident happened.
