Sawaco meets Da Nang Trade Union in the Southern region semi-finals

The two pairs of semi-final matches in the Southern region of the 2025 Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament have been officially revealed.

On the afternoon of October 12, the four quarter-final matches of the Southern region of the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament ended with the following results: Da Nang Trade Union defeated An Giang Trade Union (1-0), Sacombank defeated Le Bao Minh (1-0), Sawaco defeated Dong Nai 1 Trade Union (6-1) and Khanh Hoa Trade Union defeated Quang Ngai Trade Union (2-0).

With this result, in the semi-finals, Da Nang Trade Union will face Sawaco and Sacombank will face Khanh Hoa Trade Union at 7:30 tomorrow (October 13).

The Han River team has to face the biggest challenge since the beginning of the tournament, this is an important test for their ambition.

Meanwhile, Sacombank and Khanh Hoa Trade Union promise to create an extremely attractive match. Both are considered the top candidates for the Southern region championship.

While the banking team has many stars from semi-professional tournaments, Khanh Hoa has many prominent faces in futsal and beach soccer. The fact that one of the two teams cannot reach the final will certainly leave many regrets for the fans of the tournament.

Quarter-final match results this afternoon (October 12)

The 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament is jointly organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and the Vietnam Football Federation. This is the third consecutive year the tournament has taken place.

The 2025 tournament is sponsored by Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company (THACO), Dong Luc Sports Group, HTP Pharmaceutical Investment Joint Stock Company, Hoa Sen Group Joint Stock Company, Sunshine Group, Saigon Water Corporation (SAWACO), Faslink Fashion Connection Joint Stock Company, 108 Central Military Hospital, 175 Military Hospital and a number of enterprises.

The Northern qualifying round took place from October 3 to 5 at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, determining 6 names to win tickets to the national final round, including the champion, the People's Public Security Trade Union.

The Southern qualifying round is taking place from October 10 to 13 at Ton Duc Thang University and People's Police University with the participation of 23 teams.
