Food safety inspection and post-inspection under the management of the Industry and Trade sector

The delegation conducted food safety inspections and post-inspections before the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory for 12 food production and trading establishments under the management of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Dien Bien Phu City and Dien Bien District.

The inspection team conducted a rapid methanol test kit at an alcohol production facility in Pom Lot commune, Dien Bien district.

The inspection aims to promptly detect and prevent violations of food safety, limit food poisoning and food-borne infectious diseases; especially during the upcoming celebration of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.

In the second inspection (from September 9 to 16), the delegation inspected 2 units: Muong Lay Town Economic Department and Muong Cha District Infrastructure Economic Department on food safety during the Mid-Autumn Festival in the area.
