Checking the progress of the project to renovate and upgrade the road connecting National Highway 37 (Bac Yen district) with National Highway 279D (Muong La district)

The project to renovate and upgrade the road connecting National Highway 37 with National Highway 279D has a total length of 69.2km, invested by the Son La Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, with a total investment of nearly 860 billion VND from the state budget. The section passing through Bac Yen district is 47.2km long. The project is expected to be completed and put into use in September 2024. To date, Bac Yen district has received, appraised and approved 10 batches with 512 dossiers, with a total approved value of more than 26.3 billion VND. In the past time, the entire political system of Bac Yen district has coordinated with the investor and consulting units to promptly remove difficulties in site clearance to ensure the project's construction progress. However, up to now, there are still some difficulties and problems such as: Protective forest land is assigned to the community for management, but currently individuals are directly engaged in agricultural production on the land, and by the time of statistics for recovery, the competent authority has not yet changed the land use purpose; In some cases, parents give to their children and grandchildren but do not complete the donation or transfer procedures, so when the red book is verified and compared, it does not match the subject...

After the field inspection, comrade Dang Ngoc Hau requested the provincial departments and branches to coordinate with the locality to gradually remove difficulties. The Party Committee and the government of Bac Yen district continue to strengthen leadership, direction, propaganda and mobilization of cadres, party members and people in the area in site clearance work, promptly resolve difficulties and problems arising within their authority.
