Import and export turnover both increased

In May, Lam Dong province's export turnover reached 105.36 million USD, up 27.11% compared to May 2024. Main export items: Alumina and aluminum hydroxide reached 75.4 thousand tons, worth 34.06 million USD, up 79.31% in volume and 123.93% in value; green coffee reached 6.17 thousand tons, worth 36.15 million USD, up 0.54% in volume and 65.67% in value; processed tea reached 149 tons, worth 0.44 million USD, up 51.94% in volume and 69.23% in value; vegetables and fruits reached 3.68 thousand tons, worth 10.05 million USD, down 17.39% in volume and 14.69% in value; Flowers of all kinds reached 9.21 million USD, up 12.32%; textiles reached 10.43 million USD, down 2.25% compared to May 2024.

Import turnover in May 2025 reached 13.61 million USD, an increase of 79.08% compared to May 2024. The main imported items include: textile raw materials, greenhouse assembly parts, seeds, bulbs, flower varieties, metals, chemicals, packaging, machinery, etc.

In the first 5 months of the year, the export turnover reached 502.8 million USD, up 31.4% over the same period, reaching 45.71% of the plan. The main export items in the 5 months included: Alumina and aluminum hydroxide reached 322.32 thousand tons, worth 176.23 million USD, up 8.12% in volume and 72.86% in value; green coffee reached 25.65 thousand tons, worth 143.58 million USD, down 18.83% in volume but up 47.56% in value; processed tea reached 1.87 thousand tons, worth 5.99 million USD, up 45.39% in volume and 57.63% in value; Vegetables and fruits reached 13,040 tons, worth 37.3 million USD, up 5.58% in volume and 12.86% in value; flowers of all kinds reached 35.1 million USD, up 15.17%; textiles and garments reached 50.08 million USD, up 3.58% over the same period. Import turnover reached 84.65 million USD, up 29.37% over the same period, reaching 32.56% of the 2025 plan.
