Selling candy of unknown origin, 1 store was fined 70 million VND

Previously, on March 19, 2024, Market Management Team No. 4, Quang Ninh Provincial Market Management Department coordinated with the Customs Control Team, Mong Cai Border Gate Customs Branch, to conduct a surprise inspection of the business location of MC New World Travel Company Limited, address: Tran Phu Ward, Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh Province. Through the inspection, the Market Management force discovered more than 500 food packages including cakes, candies, jams... of unknown origin with a total value of nearly 50 million VND.

Market Management Team No. 4 has temporarily detained all the violating goods and completed the dossier to submit to the Director of Market Management Department of Quang Ninh province to issue a decision to impose an administrative penalty with a fine of 70 million VND and force the facility to destroy all the above goods according to regulations.
