Thieu Hoa town police encouraged and stabilized the psychology of a woman who intended to commit suicide.

At around 7:00 p.m. on May 14, at Van Ha Bridge, a woman around 35-40 years old was planning to commit suicide. After receiving a report from the people, two police officers from Thieu Hoa town arrived in time to advise and prevent the woman from jumping off the bridge.

After about 30 minutes of persistent persuasion, Thieu Hoa town police persuaded the woman to give up her intention of committing suicide. It is known that this woman was born in 1988, residing in Dong Tien commune, Thanh Hoa city. Due to family conflicts, in a desperate moment, she rode her motorbike to Van Ha bridge to commit suicide.

After being encouraged and cleared of her thoughts, this woman gradually stabilized her mentality. At 9pm the same day, her family went to the town police station to take her home.

It is known that from the beginning of 2025 until now, during the process of patrolling, controlling, ensuring security and order, Thieu Hoa town police have discovered and promptly prevented 5 cases of suicide by jumping off the bridge.
