Tien Luc Secondary School No. 3, Tien Luc Commune ( Bac Ninh ) where an incident occurred in which an 8th grade male student was beaten by a classmate.

According to a quick report from Tien Luc Secondary School No. 3, the incident originated from a money-borrowing dispute between some students in class 8A4. Specifically, student N.D.Q of class 8A4 borrowed money from students NTK and TMH (also students of class 8A4) while attending school. Afterwards, K and H asked Q for money several times but he has not paid.

On the morning of September 15, during recess between classes, K, H and some other students came to meet and called Q into the school's men's restroom to talk. There, H held a broom and threatened and hit Q about 5 or 6 times; K kicked Q in the head and body. While Q was being beaten, some students stood watching and recorded the video . On the afternoon of September 15, when Q went to school, K and M (both 8th grade students at the school) continued to beat him with their hands and feet in the classroom.

By the evening of September 15, some students had shared the video of H and K beating Q on some student group pages. Afterwards, Q’s family saw the video and was upset and shared it on Facebook.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tuan, Principal of Tien Luc Secondary School No. 3, said: Immediately after receiving information about the incident of a student being beaten, the school quickly sent the homeroom teacher of class 8A4 and the Team Leader to directly go to the families of the students involved to investigate and verify the incident; at the same time, report to the local authorities and coordinate with the Commune Police to clarify.

The school has established a Disciplinary Council and suspended the students involved to facilitate the verification process. On September 16, school leaders directly visited and encouraged Q twice to help him stabilize his mental state. Representatives of the families of the offending students also came to apologize to Q's family.

Q is currently being taken by his family for a general check-up at Anh Quat General Hospital. His health is stable and his mental state is gradually improving. The school continues to closely monitor and accompany his family to support him in his studies and training.

“The school is determined to strictly handle violations and always strives to build a safe, friendly and humane learning environment so that each student can study with peace of mind and develop comprehensively,” Mr. Tuan emphasized.
