Signing cooperation agreement to build a circular agricultural value chain towards Net Zero

The program was signed within the framework of the Conference to deploy the implementation plan of Resolution No. 57 NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo, Resolution No. 193/2025/QH15 dated February 19, 2025 of the National Assembly, Resolution No. 71/NQ-CP dated April 1, 2025 of the Government on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation in the agricultural and environmental sectors organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province this morning (May 10, 2025).

According to the program, the two sides will cooperate on the basis of promoting the capabilities of each side, combined with mobilizing appropriate resources to promote the application of science and technology in agricultural production; support the formation and development of high-tech and sustainable agricultural projects; build a circular agricultural value chain associated with the Net Zero goal.

The two sides will cooperate to deploy agricultural production models applying advanced technologies such as traceability using blockchain, smart management using artificial intelligence (AI), digitalizing the supply chain, precision farming based on big data (Big Data), AI and automation solutions such as IoT, drones, smart farming. Cooperate towards smart farm systems, zero-emission processing plants, maximizing by-products and using renewable energy such as biomass, rooftop solar power and green hydrogen.

TTC AgriS is one of the pioneers in the field of high-tech agriculture in Vietnam, with the orientation of developing a closed value chain from raw material areas to production, processing, trade and consumption. After more than 55 years of establishment and development, TTC AgriS has expanded from its core business of sugarcane to many other agricultural fields, with nearly 200 products exported to 69 countries.

Currently, the company operates 7 processing plants and raw material zones in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Australia, and is expanding its operations to Indonesia. TTC AgriS also invests in research and development (R&D) systems in Vietnam, Singapore, and Australia, laying the foundation for solutions on circular agriculture, traceability, and product innovation. The company currently creates stable jobs for more than 40,000 direct and indirect workers throughout the chain.

In the context of the industry facing many challenges such as severe climate change, resource depletion and green growth pressure, traditional production models are no longer suitable. Therefore, to improve productivity, quality, added value of products and protect the living environment, the whole industry needs to innovate thinking and take science and technology, digital transformation as the foundation for development.
