Signing a credit policy loan trust contract with the ward unions

On the afternoon of July 29, at the branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) in Vinh Long province, a signing ceremony of a loan trust contract for poor households and other policy beneficiaries took place between the provincial VBSP branch and socio-political organizations entrusted by the wards: Long Chau, Phuoc Hau, Tan Ngai.

Signing loan trust contracts for poor households and other policy beneficiaries between the provincial branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies and entrusted socio-political organizations.

The activity aims to unify the coordination contents in the next phase, improve the quality of policy credit, contribute to ensuring social security and local socio -economic development.

The terms and conditions of the trust contract were agreed upon and signed by the parties. According to the provincial branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, the total source of policy credit capital in the area reached over 334 billion VND, including balanced capital from the Central Government, mobilized capital, and local trust capital; of which local trust capital was 67.5 billion VND. The results of implementing the trust of policy credit programs with associations and organizations had a total outstanding loan balance of over 310 billion VND, with over 6,000 households borrowing loans with outstanding loans (accounting for 99% of the total outstanding loans).

Before the merger, the provincial headquarters had 11 transaction points in communes and wards. Currently, the headquarters has worked and agreed with the People's Committees of Long Chau, Phuoc Hau, and Tan Ngai wards to continue arranging locations for 9 commune transaction points to ensure they are close to the people as before.
