(DTO) On the morning of December 17th, Agribank Tien Giang Branch held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement between the Dong Thap Provincial Tax Department and Agribank Tien Giang Branch and Agribank Dong Thap Branch, aiming to support business households in transitioning from the lump-sum tax method to the declaration tax method. Attending the ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thi Dam, Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 13 Branch; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Son, Deputy Head of the Dong Thap Provincial Tax Department; Mr. Vo Van Quoc, Director of Agribank Dong Thap Branch; Mr. Truong Van Doan, Director of Agribank Tien Giang Branch; and representatives from relevant units.

Accordingly, the Dong Thap Provincial Tax Department, in coordination with Agribank Tien Giang Branch and Agribank Dong Thap Branch, is implementing and providing guidance to business households on legal policies and the proficient operation and use of electronic invoices (including electronic invoices with tax authority codes and electronic invoices generated from cash registers). Simultaneously, the Tax Department is collaborating with Agribank to guide business households on accounting regulations using the declaration method and to provide related service packages.

Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Branch 13, Nguyen Thi Dam, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

At the ceremony, representatives from various units shared the importance of close coordination between Agribank and the tax authorities in implementing solutions to support customers. Agribank committed to providing integrated digital financial and payment tools, helping business households easily carry out procedures for opening accounts, registering and paying taxes electronically, integrating electronic invoices, and using modern sales management platforms.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Son, Deputy Head of the Tax Department of Dong Thap province, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

Mr. Truong Van Doan, Director of Agribank Tien Giang Branch, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam's Branch 13, Nguyen Thi Dam, said that the transition from the lump-sum tax model to the declaration model, the application of electronic invoices, and the use of cashless payment methods are opportunities for business households to make their cash flow transparent, improve management capacity, and increase access to bank credit.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Dam suggested that, in order for the cooperation agreement to be implemented effectively and substantially, Agribank branches in Dong Thap and Tien Giang should actively and proactively implement the signed cooperation contents, concretizing them with monthly and quarterly plans.
