Signing of cooperation agreement on propaganda and newspaper publication with Quang Dien commune

HNN.VN - On August 5, the Editorial Board and leaders of specialized departments of Hue Newspaper and Radio and Television, led by Mr. Hoang Dang Khoa, member of the City Party Committee and Editor-in-Chief, had a working session with the Party Committee, People's Committee and specialized departments of Quang Dien commune (Hue City) to strengthen coordination in propaganda and newspaper distribution.

The two units discussed many issues at the meeting.

This is the first locality out of 40 wards and communes after the merger under the 2-level local government model under Hue City that Hue Newspaper and Radio and Television have chosen as a point to deploy coordinated propaganda and newspaper distribution work in the new period.

At the meeting, the two sides frankly discussed and evaluated the initial results; at the same time, pointed out the shortcomings, difficulties and obstacles in the propaganda and newspaper distribution work in the past time. In particular, they emphasized improving the quality of local pages on television, effectively maintaining propaganda pages on printed newspapers; increasing information about Party Congresses at all levels; building reportage and documentary programs; expanding radio broadcasting; and providing timely and effective information to the press.

After analyzing and clarifying related issues, Hue Newspaper, Radio and Television, together with the Party Committee and People's Committee of Quang Dien commune, agreed and signed a coordination memorandum, focusing on improving the effectiveness of propaganda work on socio-economic development tasks, Party building and the local political system.

The two units signed a memorandum of cooperation to improve the effectiveness of propaganda work and print newspaper distribution.

Through the media platforms of Hue Newspaper, Radio and Television, the image of the land and people of Quang Dien commune in the new period will be widely spread, contributing to creating a driving force to promote comprehensive local development.

The two units also agreed to effectively implement the publication of printed newspapers in accordance with Directive No. 11 dated December 28, 1996 of the Politburo and Official Dispatch No. 1811 dated January 6, 2023 of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee (now Hue City Party Committee) on continuing to purchase and read Party newspapers and magazines.
