At the ceremony, officials and employees of the Vietnamese Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community living, studying and working in Israel offered incense at the altar of President Ho Chi Minh, expressing their deep gratitude and infinite respect for him - the beloved leader who devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation and the happiness of the people.

Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Israel Ly Duc Trung said that the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh is a brilliant symbol of the ideal of national independence associated with socialism, patriotism, compassion, profound wisdom and boundless sacrifice for the people and the Fatherland.

After more than 30 years of wandering to find a way to save the country, President Ho Chi Minh was not only a staunch revolutionary soldier but also a great cultural figure and friend of oppressed peoples around the world .

Uncle Ho left behind an invaluable legacy - not only national independence, the foundation of the new regime, but also Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style - the guiding principle for all actions of the Party and the Vietnamese people today and forever.

Ambassador Ly Duc Trung emphasized: “Today, in the heart of the distant but friendly Middle East, the Vietnamese community in Israel is increasingly growing, united and close-knit. The spirit of Ho Chi Minh lives forever in every meaningful action of our people - from preserving the Vietnamese language for the younger generation, to supporting each other in times of trouble and always looking towards the homeland with a steadfast heart.”

On this occasion, the Ambassador asked Vietnamese people living abroad to continue studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style through practical actions, living simply and responsibly, continuing to unite and support each other, and building a strong, affectionate and integrated Vietnamese community in Israel.

The ceremony became even more emotional when attendees watched a documentary about Uncle Ho's life and career.

The film recreates major historical milestones: the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (1930), the August Revolution (1945), and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. The years of resistance against French colonialism and American imperialism are shown through valuable documents, emphasizing the leadership role and strategic thinking of President Ho Chi Minh.

Also at the ceremony, attendees listened to the historical story of the meeting between President Ho Chi Minh and the first Prime Minister of the State of Israel, Mr. David Ben-Gurion in 1946 in Paris (France) - a short but meaningful meeting, demonstrating President Ho Chi Minh's broad international vision, as well as the sympathy between the two leaders about the aspiration for national independence and peace for their countries.
