Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Ha Duc My, Chairman of Dak Pxi Commune People's Committee, said that the commune has many households raising striped pigs. This is a precious pig with high economic value, however, there is not much output on the market.

Therefore, the commune organizes pig racing, promotes the village pig brand and finds outlets for the products.

The contest is for the 5 households with the largest number of striped pigs in Dak Pxi commune. The winning pig will be auctioned at the market to promote and bring profit to the people.

Ms. Hong Anh (Dak Pxi commune, Dak Ha district) is a household with a strong pig that passed the first round of the race.

Ms. Anh confided: "Striped melon pigs are small in size and take more than a year to raise before being sold. If raised for profit, it is very difficult. The family wants to promote and develop products such as sun-dried striped melon pigs, dried pigs, and smoked pigs... to increase profits and product value."
