Due to the impact of prolonged heavy rains in 2025, landslides and subsidence have occurred on National Highway 4D, especially at Km27+120 to Km27+200, posing a potential safety risk to people and vehicles participating in traffic.

The landslide point at Km27+120 to Km27+200 has been cordoned off with warning ropes about the dangerous area.

Specifically, on the right side of the road, at Km27+120 to Km27+200, two interconnected sand pits appeared, 15-20m apart, causing subsidence of about 1/3 of the road surface and signs of continuing to expand, posing a high risk of insecurity for people and vehicles participating in traffic.

The Provincial People's Committee requested to immediately deploy emergency measures: Organize monitoring, supervision and timely handling of incidents at the location of natural disasters; strengthen inspection, patrol, stretch ropes, and put up warning signs; at the same time, organize guard duty and reasonably divide traffic lanes, not allowing people and vehicles to pass through the collapsed lane.

The Provincial People's Committee assigns responsibilities to relevant agencies and units to implement response and overcome the consequences of natural disasters: The Department of Construction maintains the implementation of lane separation and traffic warnings; coordinates with relevant forces to guide and regulate traffic to ensure safety for people and vehicles participating in traffic; proactively and regularly monitors the current state of damage to the works. Deploy urgent measures that need to be applied immediately to respond to and overcome the consequences to prevent and minimize damage caused by natural disasters or construction incidents. Perform other tasks depending on the nature of the natural disaster situation and the direction of competent authorities. Be responsible for the accuracy of reported data.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment, members of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue; and relevant units, according to their assigned functions and tasks, proactively monitor and grasp developments in natural disasters, synthesize and report on damage caused by natural disasters in the whole province according to regulations.
