Lai Chau will organize the Cultural Festival of ethnic groups with a population of less than 10,000 people.

For the first time, the Cultural Festival of ethnic groups with a population of less than 10,000 people, jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Lai Chau province, will take place from November 3-5.

With the theme "Preserving, promoting and spreading the traditional cultural identity of ethnic groups with very small populations", the Cultural Festival of Ethnic Groups with a population of less than 10,000 people takes place together with the Tourism - Cultural Week of Lai Chau province in 2023.

The festival has the participation of 14 ethnic groups: O Du, Brau, Ro Mam, Pu Peo, Si La, Cong, Bo Y, Co Lao, Mang, Lo Lo, Chut, Lu, Pa Then and Ngai from 13 provinces including Lai Chau, Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Dien Bien, Ha Giang, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Tuyen Quang, Son La, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Kon Tum.

Within the framework of the Festival, there will be many activities such as offering flowers to Uncle Ho's Monument with the ethnic people of Lai Chau; the opening ceremony of the Festival; opening of the exhibition of cultural, sports and tourism activities; performances and introductions of festivals and traditional cultural activities of ethnic groups with a population of less than 10,000 people.

The event also includes a mass art festival; demonstrations of traditional ethnic costumes and traditional handicrafts; displays of typical cultural products of ethnic groups...
