Lam Dong was allocated nearly 2,000 billion VND to build the Bao Loc

Continuing the 49th session, on the morning of September 22, with 100% of members present in agreement, the National Assembly Standing Committee approved the principles on allocating and adjusting the public investment plan from the central budget in 2024 among ministries, central agencies and localities according to the Government's proposal.

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly voted.

Presenting a report before the National Assembly Standing Committee voted, Deputy Minister of Finance Tran Quoc Phuong said that the Government proposed to allocate 1,927 billion VND of increased central budget revenue in 2022 to Lam Dong province to implement the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Construction Investment Project.

The Government also proposed to reduce 723 billion VND of the increased central budget revenue in 2022 that the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Construction no longer need to use to adjust the corresponding increase for Quang Ngai province (150 billion VND) and Lam Dong province (573 billion VND).

Regarding the adjustment of the central budget capital source in 2025 among ministries, central agencies and localities, the Government proposed to reduce the central budget source in 2025 by VND 3,270 billion of 9 ministries, central agencies and 3 localities to increase accordingly for 3 ministries, central agencies and 13 localities.

Adjust to reduce 703,036 billion VND of the foreign central budget source of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (formerly) to adjust to increase accordingly for 3 localities (Tuyen Quang, Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh).

In the submission, the Government also proposed adjusting the central budget capital in 2025 to suit the reorganization of the apparatus of ministries, central and local agencies.

Accordingly, the Government submitted an adjustment to reduce the entire 2025 central budget of 8 ministries and central agencies (Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board; Ministry of Planning and Investment; Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Ministry of Transport; Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; Management Board of the Vietnam Ethnic Culture Village; Ethnic Committee; Hoa Lac High-Tech Park Management Board) to adjust the corresponding increase for 7 ministries and localities (Ministry of National Defense; Ministry of Finance; Ministry of Agriculture and Environment; Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Ministry of Construction; Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; Hanoi City).

The Government proposed to reduce 381 billion VND of the Ministry of Home Affairs to increase correspondingly for the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; adjust to reduce more than 187 billion VND of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to increase correspondingly for the Ministry of Home Affairs (more than 100 billion VND), the Ministry of Education and Training (more than 61 billion VND), and the Ministry of Health (25.3 billion VND).

Adjust to reduce 66 billion VND of the Ministry of Information and Communications to increase accordingly for the Ministry of Science and Technology (52.5 billion VND) and the Ministry of Public Security (13.5 billion VND).
