Working with telecommunications companies on technology infrastructure development solutions

(DN) - On the afternoon of April 9, Director of the Department of Science and Technology Ta Quang Truong chaired a working session with telecommunications corporations and enterprises on investment plans and development of telecommunications and internet infrastructure in Dong Nai.

At the same time, propose solutions to achieve the goals according to Resolution No. 03/NQ-CP of the Government currently implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation in the province.

At the meeting, businesses said they are focusing on developing the 5G platform in the province. At the same time, they proposed that localities should invest in projects in specific fields, thereby deploying applications and replicating, developing the Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure, and promoting communication on the development of 5G technology in the area...

Speaking at the meeting, Director of the Department of Science and Technology Ta Quang Truong asked telecommunications enterprises to review the development programs of corporations so that the province has a basis to adjust the digital technology infrastructure development plan to suit specific goals of science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation.

Regarding IoT infrastructure development, the Department of Science and Technology leaders "ordered" network operators to deploy scientific and technological products to apply IoT development solutions into practice. At the same time, they proposed that telecommunications enterprises build virtual exhibitions of information technology products, helping to connect supply and demand, contributing to meeting the needs of businesses.
