Trang Phap is currently the artist receiving much attention from the audience at Sister Dep Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves 2023. After her performances on the show, she once again affirmed that she is completely good at all roles from singing, dancing, composing and arranging music. The judges assessed that Trang Phap will be an all-round beauty, able to take on any position in the group.

Sharing with VTC News , Trang Phap said that the thing she is most proud of in herself is that over the past 10 years, she has always been dedicated and worked without calculation. If she could choose again 100 times, she would still decide to pursue an artistic path, despite many ups and downs.

Don't go to "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves" to regain her glory

It can be said that "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves 2023" is an impressive comeback of Trang Phap to art. What brought you to this program?

The opportunity to join the program was also very coincidental for me. While writing an album to celebrate my 10th year in the profession, I suddenly received an invitation. At that time, I did not think much and decided to agree immediately. Perhaps it was a "signal from the universe".

- Many people think that "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves 2023" is a place to help some beautiful sisters regain their glory. Does Trang Phap think she is in this case?

I have never thought about having a halo, so there is no way to find it again. For the past 10 years, I have always done art with a truly passionate mindset. I have never had a strategy to find a halo in the past 10 years and this time is no different. I just want to participate in the program with all my heart. This is also a memorable memory marking 10 years of my artistic activities.

- So what do you want to bring in this appearance?

This show is an opportunity for me to do what I need to do. I want to perform shows that I have never performed before and have more ideas about music .

- Although it's only been a few episodes, many people predict that Trang Phap will be one of the members who stays until the end. Possessing all the elements from singing, dancing to good musical thinking, are you completely confident in yourself?

I am not completely confident because I still see myself lacking a lot. In the past, I did not perform, did not practice singing and dancing, so I need to practice a lot. That is also the reason why I was very confused when entering the program. In the common house, there are many "monuments" that I admire. I hope I will try to stay longer with the program.

- So in the house, how do you rate the "beautiful ladies"?

All 29 other beauties give me positive feelings. It is difficult to say who I am closest to or fondest of. In each performance round, I am paired with different beauties, so my feelings are equally shared among everyone.

Talking about the 4 "big sisters" of the show, I was surprised that they brought a very close, youthful and energetic feeling.

- However, since it is called a contest, competition is inevitable. In this program, does Trang Phap see this happening, even if it is just "hidden" competition?

I have not seen any competition in the show. For me, the show is not a singing competition, but a reality TV show. It is like a playground for team spirit and connection between artists.

- Most of the beautiful ladies said they came to the program to "heal" some wounds in their souls. What about Trang Phap, do you have any wounds that need to be "healed"?

Not only the beautiful ladies, I think everyone has wounds that need to be healed, especially during the COVID-19 period that has occurred in recent years. I have such wounds too. That is also the reason I wrote the 10th anniversary album and came to the program.

- After the program, what direction does Trang Phap want to orient herself in?

In the past 10 years, I have not had any direction for myself. I do not see myself as a professional singer. Currently, I am quite busy with the program so I do not have any personal direction. However, in the near future, I will try to promote the singing part more than before.

After a period of silence, many people say Trang Phap seems to have returned with an upgraded version. Is it true that during her recent break, she spent a lot of time "cultivating"?

Recently, I have chosen to stand behind the music products of my colleagues. I myself feel a change in my thinking and working spirit.

- What is the reason that you "hid" after such a long time?

Partly I wanted it and partly my parents wanted it. My parents didn’t want their daughter to pursue a musical career because they didn’t like the noise. The only solution was for me to do art without making a fuss. So becoming a musician and music producer satisfied both sides.

- During the solo round, you were quite emotional when you brought the guitar your mother gave you on stage to perform. Is this a hidden message to your family that even though you pursue art, you still want your family to be by your side?

My parents still don't feel comfortable with me doing art, even when I return to participate in "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves 2023". After the pandemic, I changed my mind and decided to let myself do what I wanted.

I wanted to bring that guitar to the stage as a thank you to my parents. Even though they don’t support me, I know they always give me the best and give me advice when I need it. It seems like they understand my passion.

- So what did your family say when they saw your daughter participating in "Chi dep dap gio roi song 2023"?

For the first time, I received a text message from my mother praising me after my solo performance. This touched me because in 10 years of being an artist, my parents had never praised any of my performances.

- Looking back on 10 years of artistic activities, is family's obstruction the most difficult thing Trang Phap finds?

The hardest thing is how to balance family and career. There were times when I felt that every step forward in my art was a step away from my family. I wanted a peaceful life and I also wanted to make music, so the hardest thing was to balance both.

If I could choose again 100 times, I would still pursue an artistic career.

Trang Phap's love life seems to be more private after her previous public relationship. It seems like she has become more closed off because she is afraid of the noise?

My family and I both want to live a private life, so we only hope that the audience will be interested in our artistic products. Regarding my personal life, when I feel comfortable and can share, I will definitely be ready to share.

- Trang Phap once said that she is an introvert. However, when on stage, she seems to be completely different from this personality. So what is the real Trang Phap?

I myself am an Aquarius, a person with quite a contradictory personality. In a crowd, I get along well with everyone. I like to play with everyone, from different professions. But when I entered showbiz, I was not the type of person who liked to go out too much, did not like crowded places, but only liked to stay at home and cook with a few close friends. Many people may not believe it, but I can stay at home for a few weeks without going out. However, when I am on stage, I have to burn myself out.

- If you could go back 10 years, would Trang Phap still want to continue choosing this thorny artistic path or would you decide to listen to your parents?

I have never regretted my decision to pursue a musical career, and I am very proud of it. If I had listened to my parents, I would probably have a peaceful office job. However, I still wanted to pursue an artistic career. Until now, I have never regretted this decision. If I could choose again 100 times, I would still choose an artistic career.

- What kind of person will Trang Phap be in 10 years?

Trang Phap 10 years from now will still be a passionate person with her work and devoted to art. And she might also have a lovely little family (laughs).
