Region XVII Customs Branch organizes the 2nd Business Dialogue Conference

On July 23, at Xa Mat International Border Gate Customs (Tay Ninh Province), the Customs units of Xa Mat, Ka Tum and Phuoc Tan (under the Regional Customs Branch XVII) held the 2nd Business Dialogue Conference in 2025.

Attending the event were Deputy Heads of the Regional Customs Branch XVII Phan Van Vu and Nguyen Van Khanh ; representatives of affiliated units and more than 25 enterprises with import and export activities in the management area of ​​the region.

Overview of the conference

Captain of Xa Mat International Border Gate Customs Nguyen Nam Hong Son said that the conference aimed to disseminate new legal documents related to import-export, immigration and transit activities; at the same time, listen to and record difficulties and problems regarding policies and administrative procedures related to the Customs sector from the business community, thereby promptly answering, resolving or coordinating with competent authorities to promptly resolve for the business community according to regulations.

Captain of Xa Mat International Border Gate Customs Nguyen Nam Hong Son informed about new documents related to the customs field.

The number of enterprises operating in import and export activities in the area that have signed Customs - Enterprise cooperation agreements to date is 18 enterprises, including Xa Mat International Border Gate Customs with 12 enterprises, Ka Tum Border Gate Customs with 6 enterprises.

At the conference, the Customs authority informed businesses about policies and laws on tax and customs; the modernization reform program; solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles for businesses; introduced the Customs apparatus after the merger, the implementation of customs procedures on the electronic customs clearance system version 6 (Ecus6)...

Businesses also shared problems arising in the process of implementing customs procedures, especially new policies after merging localities.

Deputy Head of Customs Branch Region XVII Phan Van Vu gave a directive speech

In his directive speech, Deputy Head of the Regional Customs Branch XVII Phan Van Vu emphasized that in the third quarter of 2025, Customs agencies will continue to promote information activities and propaganda of new documents related to customs activities in accordance with the characteristics of the business situation and the specific management area; coordinate with functional units in the area to create favorable conditions for businesses to clear goods in accordance with the law.

Units need to update and post at customs clearance locations new regulations on procedures, commodity policies, etc. so that businesses know and implement them correctly; continue to disseminate and propagate to import-export businesses in the management area about policies, tasks, contents that need to be prepared, connecting and deploying information technology systems according to the digital transformation plan of the Customs sector.
