Spreading the land donation movement in Hoang Hop

Traffic roads are expanded in Hoang Hop commune.

Previously, the inter-village roads of the commune were quite narrow, affecting the people's trade as well as the process of building new rural areas. Faced with that reality, the Party Committee and the People's Committee of the commune have struggled to find a solution to the problem of expanding traffic routes, along with the renovation and creation of a green, clean and beautiful landscape. To effectively carry out the movement, the commune has developed a specific plan for implementation, then organized public meetings from units, organizations to households in the spirit of "People know, people discuss, people do, people benefit". The Commune Steering Committee has focused on propaganda and mobilization work in many forms, suitable to the actual situation in the locality; taking advantage of the support and response of prestigious people in the village, commune, and clan to mobilize people to clearly understand that they are the beneficiaries. In addition, the commune steering committee directly attended meetings with the village party cells, identified each road that needed to be expanded to come up with solutions, closely followed the locality to grasp the thoughts and aspirations, and persuaded people to trust and follow.

Head of Quy Tho village, Nguyen Van Hanh, said: “Not only did they volunteer to donate land, many households also contributed materials, working days, cut down trees, and demolished their family fences to widen the roads. The village also mobilized contributions from the people to renovate the cultural house grounds, build flower beds, paint murals... to change the appearance of the village to be cleaner and more beautiful.”

Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh - a typical example of the land donation movement in Hoang Hop commune shared: "Because the Commune People's Committee encouraged me and my family also wanted a wider and more beautiful road, I decided to donate part of my agricultural land."

Not only Mr. Vinh's family but also most of the people in Hoang Hop commune actively responded to this movement for the common goal of building an increasingly innovative and beautiful homeland. From 2015 to 2024, the commune mobilized people to donate 6,125m2 of residential land and 25,136m2 of agricultural land to expand rural roads. In the first months of 2025, the commune mobilized people to donate more than 11,000m2 of agricultural land to expand rural roads to 7.5m. At the same time, mobilized people to contribute money to harden commune, village, and intra-field roads, renovate and build houses in residential areas... That is the "lever" to change the face of the countryside, opening up many favorable opportunities for people to develop the economy - society...

With the determination of the entire political system and the joint efforts of the people, the movement of donating land for new rural construction in Hoang Hop commune is spreading widely. To promote the achieved results, the commune will continue to promote propaganda and mobilize people to participate in new rural construction, especially the movement of donating land to expand traffic routes.
