- On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), on the morning of April 25, a working delegation of the province led by Comrade Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, visited and presented gifts to soldiers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign and are currently living in Cao Lau and Xuat Le communes, Cao Loc district.
During the program, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and members of the working delegation visited and presented gifts to Mr. Duong Thai Son (99 years old) in Thach Khuyen village and Mr. Dinh Van Vanh (97 years old) in Ban Ranh village, Xuat Le commune; and Mr. Hoang Chan Phung (99 years old) in Na Va village, Cao Lau commune.
At the families he visited, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed his gratitude and respect for the great contributions and sacrifices of the soldiers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, contributing with the whole country to the resounding victory that shook the world. He wished the veterans good health, continued to educate their children and grandchildren to uphold the family tradition, and be a spiritual support for their children and grandchildren to follow.
