Provincial People's Committee leaders work with Pacific Construction Group

On the afternoon of July 16, at the headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee, Comrade Tran Song Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received and worked with Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa - Founder of Pacific Construction Group (China).

Also attending the meeting were leaders of the following departments: Agriculture and Environment; Construction; Finance; Provincial People's Committee Office; Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of the province.

Established in 1986, Pacific Construction Group operates mainly in the construction of transport works, irrigation works and urban development. Currently, the Group is promoting the "Go Global" strategy, establishing long-term cooperative relationships with nearly 100 countries and regions, especially in Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Eastern Europe and Africa.

Working with the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa - Founder of Pacific Construction Group wishes to research, survey and seek opportunities to participate in investing in infrastructure construction projects of the province in the coming years. If the Group has the opportunity to invest in Ninh Binh province, it will commit to the investment progress, construction efficiency and low cost of the projects.

Receiving and working with Pacific Construction Group, Comrade Tran Song Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the effective and sustainable investment and business activities of Pacific Construction Group globally in general and in Vietnam in particular.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: After the merger, Ninh Binh province will possess its own potentials and competitive advantages, formed from the combination of economic, socio-cultural factors and resources.

The new development space after the merger has a natural area of about 3,942.61 km2, with a population of more than 4.4 million people. Ninh Binh has cooperated with many countries in the world, including China. Chinese enterprises that cooperate and invest in Ninh Binh province are all doing business effectively.

After operating under the new provincial model, Ninh Binh province has an important geographical location, a large workforce of working age, including many high-quality workers. The province also pays attention to and immediately implements the re-planning of development space associated with the planning of industry - sector development, key products and the rearrangement of population, infrastructure and urban areas.

In particular, the province plans to focus on economic zones, industrial parks, industrial clusters; and traffic infrastructure planning. The province is also permitted by the Government to plan an international airport nearly 20 km from the provincial center. The province also has 90 km of coastline, aiming to plan the construction of a deep-water port.

With its strategic geographical location and existing development potential, Ninh Binh province still has a lot of room for investment in transport, urban and logistics infrastructure. These are also the strengths of the Pacific Construction Group. The Provincial People's Committee will always accompany and create favorable conditions for the Group to research, survey and implement cooperation projects in the area within the framework of Vietnamese law and international treaties to which Vietnam is a member.

After today's working session, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to coordinate with relevant agencies to develop a plan to coordinate with the Pacific Construction Group in promoting mutual development.
