The delegation inspected 4 key sections and dam culverts at risk of rising water and possible landslides on the embankment. At the inspection session, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Cu Lao Gieng Commune, Vo Minh Nang, assigned specialized sectors and the Commune's Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue to strengthen monitoring of water levels, regularly check key dykes, and prepare adequate means and materials to be ready to respond when situations arise.

According to the forecast of the professional sector, due to the influence of high tides in recent days, widespread rain has caused the river water level to rise, and the weather situation is still complicated. To proactively cope with the above situation, comrade Vo Minh Nang suggested that hamlets proactively coordinate with people, cooperatives, and pumping stations to regularly visit fields, check dikes, weak or leaking locations to promptly respond when bad situations occur; promptly fix and reinforce immediately, avoid unexpected incidents, and ensure the safety of fruit orchards for the people.
