Planting 150 square-shaped banyan trees on Tien Hai island commune

On October 9, Tien Hai Border Guard Station (An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command) coordinated with Tien Hai Commune People's Committee to organize propaganda on tree planting, forest protection, marine and island environment and carry out the project "Green banyan tree row - Tien Hai mark".

Cadres, soldiers, union members, youth and people planted Banyan trees to carry out the project "Green Banyan trees - Imprint of Tien Hai".

Tien Hai Border Guard Station officers propagate and mobilize people to collect, classify and reduce plastic waste; protect water resources.

Accordingly, Tien Hai Border Guard Station coordinated to organize concentrated propaganda to raise awareness of the role, significance and responsibility in participating in planting, caring for trees, protecting forests, marine and island environments for 50 officers, soldiers, union members, youth and people in the area.

After the propaganda session, Tien Hai Border Guard Station coordinated with the Veterans Association, Women's Union, Commune Youth Union, Police, Commune Military and People to plant 150 square-shaped banyan trees to carry out the project "Green Banyan Tree Row - Tien Hai's Mark" at Bac beach - the only beach on Hon Tre island, Tien Hai commune.

The unit also coordinated with the Commune Women's Union to directly propagate and mobilize 100 households, distributed 500 leaflets on collecting, processing, reducing plastic waste, protecting water resources and gave 50 trash cans to households raising fish in cages and exploiting seafood.
