Lao Cai: Groundbreaking Ceremony of Binh Minh Tay Bac Social Housing Project

On the morning of August 19, at Yen Bai Riverside Urban Area, Au Lau Ward, Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee coordinated with Binh Minh Tay Bac Investment Joint Stock Company to organize the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Binh Minh Tay Bac Social Housing Project. The event marked an important first step, opening up housing opportunities for hundreds of low- and middle-income households in the area.

The project is implemented according to Decision No. 768/QD-UBND dated August 11, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee, on a total area of over 24,600 m², with a population of about 1,630 people.

The project consists of 6 7-storey buildings, 660 apartments, each with an average area of 70 m².

The project is fully equipped with technical infrastructure and utilities, such as: wide corridors, elevators, parking lots, internal roads, green landscapes; residents also enjoy the full range of synchronous utilities of Yen Bai Riverside Urban Area.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: Developing social housing is a key political task, a pillar in the province's social security policy. The implementation of the project not only realizes the people's right to housing, but also contributes to improving the quality of life.
