Over the years, the cooperative relationship between Lao Cai and Yunnan has been nurtured and strengthened by the Party Committees, Governments, and people of both provinces, following the motto "Friendly neighborliness, comprehensive cooperation, long-term stability, and a future-oriented approach." This aligns with the spirit of "good neighbors, good friends, good comrades, and good partners" set forth by the high-level leaders of both countries. Together, we strive to become a model of friendly cooperation between localities of Vietnam and China, contributing to deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and China in the new era.

Over the years, both Lao Cai and Yunnan have continuously made efforts and initiatives to cooperate in order to promote the socio-economic development of each side.
