Implementing Plan No. 16/KH-UBND dated July 22, 2025 of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee on organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025), Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee launched an online contest to learn about the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025) in Lao Cai province.
The contest participants are cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers and people of all walks of life living and working in Lao Cai province.
The contest is held online at the official address: https://80namcand.laocai.gov.vn
The exam starts at 08:00 on July 26, 2025 and ends at 17:00 on August 5, 2025.
Prize structure
The Organizing Committee will select the 10 best candidates based on ranking criteria to award prizes, specifically:
01 First Prize: Certificate and prize worth 2,000,000 VND.
02 Second prizes: Certificate and prize worth 1,500,000 VND.
03 Third Prizes: Certificate and prize worth 1,000,000 VND.
04 Consolation prizes: Certificate and prize worth 500,000 VND.
The Organizing Committee will also select 10 commune and ward-level units that implement the contest most effectively based on ranking criteria to award prizes, specifically as follows:
01 First Prize: Certificate and prize worth 5,000,000 VND.
02 Second prizes: Certificate and prize worth 4,000,000 VND.
03 Third Prizes: Certificate and prize worth 3,000,000 VND.
04 Consolation prizes: Certificate and prize worth 2,000,000 VND.
The results of the Contest will be announced before August 10, 2025 in writing and posted publicly at the official contest addresses (https://80namcand.laocai.gov.vn); Lao Cai Provincial Police Electronic Information Portal (https://congan.laocai.gov.vn). The summary and award ceremony will be held in a series of activities to celebrate major holidays in August 2025.
Through the Contest, we aim to widely propagate to cadres, party members and people about the glorious tradition of the People's Public Security force, and at the same time promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of the entire people in the cause of protecting national security.
