Member of the Board
The Chairman of the Council is the Minister of Construction .
The Vice Chairman of the Council is the Deputy Minister of Construction.
The members of the Council are representatives of the Ministries of Finance; Agriculture and Environment; National Defense; Public Security; Industry and Trade; Culture, Sports and Tourism; and representatives of the People's Committees of the provinces of Quang Tri; Quang Ngai; Khanh Hoa.
In addition, the Council also has 02 members who are planning experts (the Ministry of Construction is responsible for inviting 02 experts in the field of civil aviation to join the Council).
The standing body of the Council is the Department of Planning and Finance under the Ministry of Construction.
Council's Duties
The Council is responsible for reviewing and appraising the task of making adjustments to the Airport System Planning; is responsible for the appraisal results, and reports the appraisal results to the Prime Minister as a basis for reviewing and approving the task of making adjustments to the planning.
The Council operates on a part-time basis and dissolves itself after completing its tasks. The Council's operating expenses are in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Planning.
This Decision takes effect from August 22, 2025.
