Boat capsized in Huu Lung commune (Lang Son), 7 officers were rescued safely

On the evening of October 9, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Huu Lung Commune, Lang Son Province, Le Thuy Dung, informed about the incident of a rescue boat having an accident in the floodwaters in the Cau 10 area of ​​the locality.

Specifically, at around 9:00 p.m., in the Cau 10 area, Huu Lung commune, an accident occurred when a rescue boat operated by the fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue force (Provincial Police) capsized.

While the rescue boat was returning to support and rescue people in the flooded area, it encountered a strong current, causing 7 officers sitting on the boat to fall into the river. All of the people who fell into the river were promptly rescued by local forces.

Currently, many areas in Huu Lung commune are still deeply flooded. The Trung River is slowly receding, but there are many strong currents, making it very dangerous to travel by canoe, raft, or boat.
