Collecting public opinions on constitutional amendments on VNeID until May 29

BHG - The Ministry of Public Security has just established and managed a utility system to collect public opinions on constitutional amendments on the VNeID application from May 6 to May 29.

Utility to collect public opinions on amending the Constitution on VNeID application

To serve the purpose of collecting public opinions via the application, the new update of VNeID on mobile phones has added this utility. Accordingly, people can access the application, go to the section Collecting public opinions on the content of the 2013 Constitution amendment to send their comments.

The proposed amendments to the Constitution are also posted on the app for people to follow. As of 11am on May 9, there were 42,800 views and 19,014 comments via the app.

This amendment and supplement to the Constitution and laws is aimed at serving the organization and apparatus of the political system according to Resolution 18 of the Politburo. The scope of this amendment and supplement to the Constitution focuses on 2 groups of contents:

Firstly, the provisions of the 2013 Constitution related to the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations (concentrated in Articles 9 and 10).

Second, the provisions in Chapter 9 of the 2013 Constitution to implement the two-level local government organization model.
