On the morning of October 20th, the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Supporting Young Workers organized a mass wedding ceremony for 82 couples. These couples were young workers, laborers in difficult circumstances, and people with disabilities.

Mr. Bui Thanh Thuan (40 years old) and Ms. Nguyen Thi La (38 years old) are the only disabled couple at this year's mass wedding ceremony. "My wife and I are truly happy and moved. From the time we fell in love until now, we never thought we would have such a solemn and meaningful wedding ceremony," Mr. Thuan shared.

From early morning, 82 couples participating in the 2023 mass wedding ceremony performed the ritual of laying flowers to President Ho Chi Minh at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park (Nguyen Hue pedestrian street).

"I learned about the mass wedding through a friend's recommendation. My wife and I have been in love for almost ten years, but this is the first time we've had a proper wedding ceremony like this," shared Vo Duc Than (32 years old).

The mass wedding program not only has humanitarian significance by helping many couples in difficult circumstances, but also contributes to honoring the beauty of national cultural traditions, encouraging civilized and economical wedding ceremonies, and demonstrating the spirit of mutual support and compassion.

Over 14 editions, the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Supporting Young Workers has collaborated with agencies, organizations, and businesses in the city to help more than 1,156 young worker couples in difficult circumstances walk down the aisle through the mass wedding ceremony program.

Immediately after laying flowers at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh and parading decorated floats through the streets, 82 couples held their wedding ceremonies at a restaurant with rituals similar to a traditional wedding.

Relatives and family members of the couples also came to attend this special wedding ceremony.

The mass wedding ceremony carries immense social and humanitarian significance. Over the years, the program has received much attention from organizations throughout the city, aiming to care for the material and spiritual well-being of young working couples from disadvantaged backgrounds who lack the means to hold a wedding ceremony.
