From May 3, 2025, the Canadian Beef Association and the FujiMart supermarket chain will jointly organize the 2025 Canadian Beef Festival with the desire to introduce excellent beef products from the "Land of Maple Leaves", at the same time, promote the unique culture and lifestyle of Canadian people.

Nowadays, as the Vietnamese middle class is growing and food preferences are becoming more and more upscale and diverse, imported beef is quickly becoming familiar on the Vietnamese dining table. Although it is more expensive than domestic beef, imported beef is favored by Vietnamese consumers because it is soft, juicy, well-preserved and has a clear origin.
According to Trade Data Monitor, LLC, beef imports into Vietnam have increased significantly, averaging an increase of 24% since 2018. Over the years, Australia, Canada, the United States, and the European Union have remained the main countries and territories exporting beef to Vietnam. All meat products imported into our country must ensure compliance with local policies and use highly specialized import services.
Canada is considered a “rising star” in the overall meat export sector, ranking fourth globally. In recent years, Canada has consistently been in the top 10 beef producing markets – accounting for about 2% of the world’s beef production.
Nature has blessed Canada with vast grasslands and a year-round fresh climate to develop large-scale cattle farming. Canadian farmers take advantage of the favorable seasonal weather to raise cattle combined with high- tech farming. The cattle are fed a specially designed diet, thereby producing premium quality meat products, soft but firm, delicious, rich in flavor thanks to the evenly distributed fat marbling ratio on the meat, favored by many consumers in Vietnam.

This holiday season, FujiMart supermarket chain is specially introducing to customers a variety of imported beef products from Canada including belly, shoulder core, thigh and cut meat ready for steak. All products in the festival have attractive preferential prices, meet food hygiene standards and have excellent taste so customers can feel secure when using them.
Over the past decade, the Canadian Beef Association has continued to reach out to Vietnamese consumers through programs promoting Canadian beef and strengthening trade relations between Canada and Vietnam. This year, the Canadian Beef Festival 2025, a collaboration between the Canadian Beef Association and the FujiMart supermarket chain, will continue to promote top Canadian beef products to Vietnamese customers.
Mr. Yuji Ohama - General Director of FujiMart supermarket shared: “The goal of the import product introduction programs at FujiMart supermarket is to bring high-quality products at reasonable costs, ensuring prestige from leading countries in the world and fully meeting the needs of customers in one shopping trip. The cooperation program with the Canadian Beef Association in 2025 will contribute to diversifying the choice of imported meat for Vietnamese consumers to have rich, delicious and healthy meals”.
