The 2025 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2025) with the theme "Da Nang - The New Rising Era" conveys the message of 50 years of construction, integration and development of Da Nang, scheduled to take place from May 31 to July 12, 2025.
On January 8, the People's Committee of Da Nang City and its partner - Sungroup Group, held a press conference to provide information about DIFF 2025. Information at the press conference said that DIFF 2025 will take place from May 31 to July 12, 2025 with 10 competing teams and 6 performance nights. This is the longest-running international fireworks festival and the number of competing teams has nearly doubled in the history of DIFF (especially with the participation of 2 competing teams from Korea and China, 2 countries in the list of 10 markets with the most tourists to Da Nang).

Vice Chairwoman of Da Nang City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi said that through 12 times of organization, DIFF has affirmed its position as an international-class festival, making Da Nang become the leading city of events and festivals in Asia. DIFF 2025 conveys the message of 50 years of construction, integration and development of Da Nang, affirming the aspiration, vision and efforts to mark Da Nang's position on the international tourism map.

Director of Da Nang Department of Tourism Truong Thi Hong Hanh expects that with DIFF 2025, the number of visitors to Da Nang in the summer of 2025 will increase compared to 2024. Da Nang will have a successful tourism year to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation.
According to information at the press conference: The opening night of DIFF 2025 (May 31), with the theme "Cultural Essence" took place with the competition between Vietnam Team 1 and Finland Team. DIFF 2025 is the first year that 2 Vietnamese teams (Vietnam 1 and Vietnam 2) will compete.
After the opening night, the competition nights take place on Saturday nights of the following weeks and there is a week off to prepare for the final night.

The second competition night (June 7) with the theme “Creative Art” took place between the Vietnamese team 2 and the Polish team. The third competition night (June 14) with the theme “Connecting Journey” took place between the Canadian team and the Chinese team. The fourth competition night (June 21) with the theme “Sustainable Development” took place between the Portuguese team and the British team. The fifth competition night (June 28) with the theme “Leading Technology” took place between the Korean team and the Italian team. The sixth competition night - the final night (July 12) with the theme “Welcoming the new era”.
Deputy General Director of Sun World Group - Ms. Tran Nguyen, said: The scale of the stands and the number of seats are expected to be equivalent to DIFF 2024. Fireworks tickets start from 1,000,000 VND/ticket. The main ticket distribution channels are travel agencies, tourism platforms, online booking, websites...
