OPENING CEREMONY OF CHOLIMEX BEN LUC FOOD PROCESSING FACTORY

On April 11, 2025, Cholimex Food held an inauguration ceremony and officially put into operation the second factory in Ben Luc - Long An after completing phase 2 of the project.

Cholimex Ben Luc Food Processing Factory is built in Vinh Loc 2 Industrial Park, Ben Luc District, Long An Province. The project has a scale of nearly 04 hectares with a total investment of 850 billion VND, including 2 modern factories, meeting international standards. In which, the frozen food processing factory The cold storage plant has a capacity of 10,000 tons/year, equipped with a cold storage system with a capacity of nearly 2,600 pallets. After completing phase 1, the factory was granted EU CODE TS:1265 certification, ensuring it meets strict food safety standards for export to the European Union (EU) market.

In addition, the food processing factory was also built with a capacity of up to 300,000 tons/year, along with a dry warehouse with a capacity of nearly 9,000 pallet positions, contributing to optimizing production, preservation and distribution activities, meeting the increasing demand of the market. In addition to the main production area, the factory also has modern auxiliary works such as: a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 1,000 m³/day and night, a solar panel system with a design capacity of nearly 01 MWp, a canteen that ensures food safety and hygiene criteria serving more than 1,000 workers.

Mr. Diep Nam Hai, General Director of Cholimex Food Company, shared that Cholimex Food Ben Luc Food Processing Factory was planned to be built from 2020 to expand production scale and optimize transportation activities, facilitate logistics activities as well as expand export markets. However, with the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the project had to be postponed and officially restarted at the end of 2022. To date, after more than 2 years of construction and installation of machinery and equipment, the factory has completed all items to officially put into operation.

The inauguration and operation of Cholimex Ben Luc factory on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification has great significance, affirming the efforts, dedication and development orientation of the Enterprise's leadership.
