On April 4, singer Hoai Phu officially debuted to the public with the old music album Love Song for You , hosted by MC Minh Duc and co-produced by musician Nguyen Ha. The album includes 10 old songs, including two duets with famous singer Le Uyen.
Hoai Phu is one of the singers who is passionate about old music. He (born in 1978), from Dak Lak , studied vocal pedagogy but did not have the opportunity to sing when he was young. Still maintaining this passion, Hoai Phu performed in his own group until he was accidentally discovered by famous singer Le Uyen in 2022.

The singer spontaneously scheduled a recording session with Hoai Phu with the help of musician Nguyen Ha. In 4 hours from 8pm to midnight, two old songs were born: Vung Muc Cua Chung Ta and Uong Nuoc Ben Bo Suoi .
"Hoai Phu is a young generation but loves Le Uyen Phuong's music very much. That makes us very happy. Therefore, when Phu asked to sing my songs, I was very happy to sing those duets with Phu. I am an open-minded person, so if you understand and love Le Uyen Phuong's music , I am willing to help," famous singer Le Uyen shared.
After 2 years of gestation, Hoai Phu released an album of old music. Being commented to have the same voice as famous male singers before, Hoai Phu confided: "I am truly grateful to be commented to have the same voice as my seniors. I am not afraid of being compared, but I believe my voice has both common and unique features."
At the press conference, Hoai Phu also performed the song Sang ngang (with the accompaniment of guitarist Vinh Tam) impressing guests with his emotional voice.

Evaluating Hoai Phu's voice, Le Uyen said: "I don't care what school the voice comes from, what singing style. I only care, notice when that person sings, I can see the truth, the emotions of the singer. Emotion is something that seems easy but is very formidable. When you can convey emotions, that's what I like. You don't need to sing at a high level, nor does it need to be Le Uyen Phuong's music, but if the singing makes me feel emotional, then to me that's a good voice.
Many young people say that singing Le Uyen Phuong's music is difficult. But for me, it's not difficult. The difficulty is expressing the soul of the song, that's what needs to be thought about. Many people sing passionately, not on beat but with their emotions. It has something that makes the listener feel nostalgic. Phu sings very emotionally, which I like very much."
Le Uyen Phuong is the joint stage name of musician Le Minh Lap (1941 - 1999) and singer Le Uyen (real name Lam Phuc Anh, born 1952). Le Uyen Phuong is famous for composing and performing love songs praising passionate, romantic love in Saigon before 1975.
