Semester 1 holiday schedule 2025 for Hanoi students

In Hanoi , holidays and Tet holidays during the school year are implemented according to the provisions of the Labor Code and annual guidelines.

The Ministry of Education and Training issued the schedule framework for the 2024-2025 school year as follows:

The earliest school start date is 1 week before the opening day. For grade 1, the earliest school start date is 2 weeks before the opening day. The opening day is September 5, 2024.

Finish semester 1 before January 18, 2025, complete the program and end the school year before May 31, 2025.

In Hanoi, holidays and Tet holidays during the school year are implemented according to the provisions of the Labor Code and annual guidelines.

Consider recognition of completion of primary school program and consider recognition of graduation from secondary school before June 30, 2025.

Complete enrollment for first grade classes before July 31, 2025.

The 2025 high school graduation exam is scheduled to take place on June 26 and 27, 2025.

The local school year schedule must ensure 35 weeks of actual study (18 weeks for semester 1 and 17 weeks for semester 2). The school year schedule must be suitable to the characteristics and practical conditions of the locality.
