In Sepak Takraw, after achieving the goal of winning the gold medal in the 4-person women's team event, the Vietnamese team confidently entered the 3-person women's team and 3-person men's team events. At 8:00, the 3-person men's team faced Malaysia and at 9:00, the 3-person women's team faced India.

In Chinese chess, hope is on Lai Ly Huynh in the individual event as he is undefeated after 4 rounds.

Also today, the Vietnamese karate team entered the competition with the participation of Pham Minh Duc in the men's individual kata category, Nguyen Thi Phuong in the women's individual kata category, and Dinh Thi Huong in the women's 68 kg kumite category.
