This year's tournament brings together 8 women's teams from countries and territories with developed volleyball, divided into two groups.
Group A includes the Vietnam national team, the Philippines team, Sichuan Club (China) and the Australian team.
Group B includes the Vietnam U21 team, Korabelka Club (Russia), Chinese Taipei team and Thailand U21.
Teams will play a round robin in each group to determine rankings.
The top four teams from each group will then be paired up in a knockout format to determine the semi-finals and finals.
According to the schedule, the group stage takes place from June 28 to July 1, the knockout round takes place on July 3, followed by the semi-finals on July 4, and the final and awards ceremony on July 5.
This is an important tournament in the plan to review the force, test the lineup, and check the quality of tactical operations of the national team as well as the U21 team.
Ranked 25th in the world , the Vietnamese women's volleyball team is gradually asserting its position on the continental volleyball map.
This tournament is an opportunity for the players to show their performance before the 33rd SEA Games, where the team aims to compete for a gold medal.
With the participation of two teams from the world's leading women's volleyball teams, Russia and China, along with regional teams such as Thailand, the Philippines and Australia, the tournament promises to bring top-notch competitions right from the group stage.
