Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation supports union members and workers affected by floods

Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation has just issued a plan to support union members and workers affected by floods from November 17 to 22.

Leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation presented support to employees of Nha Trang Seafood F17 Hot Mineral Spring Tourism Joint Stock Company.

Accordingly, from the funding source of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor , the regular operating fund in 2025 and the Provincial Trade Union Charity Fund, and socialized sources with a total estimated amount of more than 9.4 billion VND, the Provincial Confederation of Labor will support union members and workers from poor and near-poor households directly affected by floods. Of which, about 2 billion VND will be spent to support new construction and repair of houses. Criteria for housing support: Houses that have collapsed, completely or partially collapsed; houses that have been completely washed away by water, severely damaged, leading to unsafety, uninhabitable or partially damaged, affecting the structure of the house, requiring repairs and renovations to be able to live; not yet supported by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune or ward. Criteria for other fixed assets: Assets that have been completely washed away; assets that are damaged and no longer usable. Regarding the level of support from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in cash, it is 2 million VND/person; The cash support level of the Provincial Labor Federation is 1 million VND/person. For new house construction support is 60 million VND/house, repair support is 30 million VND/house.

Based on the list of support allocations of the Provincial Federation of Labor, about 83,999 union members of 816 grassroots unions received support.
