Ha Nam Provincial Martial Arts Federation successfully organized the 1st Ha Nam Open Karate Club Championship in 2024

Practically commemorating the 55th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969-2024); the 79th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024 ) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), on August 11, 2024, at the Provincial Sports Gymnasium, the Ha Nam Provincial Martial Arts Federation successfully organized the 1st Ha Nam Open Karate Club Championship in 2024 with the participation of nearly 600 athletes from 21 delegations, from provinces, cities and sectors across the country: Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thai Binh , Hai Phong, Hoa Binh, Hanoi and host Ha Nam.

Athletes competed for 136 sets of medals, including: Individual Kata (performance) for men and women; Team Kata (combat) for men and women; Individual Kumite (combat) for men and women, Team Kumite for men and women in age groups from 6 to 17 years old. Nearly 40 national referees were invited to officiate at the Tournament.

Previously, on the afternoon of August 10, the Ha Nam Province Martial Arts Federation organized a training course on refereeing to ensure the best professional management.

The 1st Ha Nam Open Karate Club Championship in 2024 is an activity to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Provincial Martial Arts Federation (August 25, 2004 - August 25, 2024); at the same time, it is an opportunity to evaluate the quality, scale, and system of the martial arts movement in the whole province; select talented athletes for the Karate youth team to participate in national and regional youth tournaments in the coming time.

Final results:

- The first place overall belongs to An - Phu Ha Nam delegation with 47 gold medals, 24 silver medals and 24 bronze medals;

- Second place for the entire delegation belongs to Hung Yen Provincial Martial Arts Federation with 13 Gold Medals, 12 Silver Medals and 22 Bronze Medals;

- The third place overall belongs to Minh Tu Martial Arts School - Son Tay with 13 gold medals, 08 silver medals and 04 bronze medals.
