The 3rd Tay Nom Singing Festival in Van Ban District in 2023

In order to preserve and promote the cultural identity of the Tay ethnic group in general and Nom folk songs in particular, Van Ban district organized the 3rd Tay Nom Singing Festival in 2023.

Participating in the festival were art troupes from 12/22 communes and towns in the district.

With the theme of praising the Party, Uncle Ho and the homeland and country on the path of innovation, the art troupes brought to the festival nearly 40 unique and attractive singing, dancing and music performances. Through the performances of artisans and non-professional actors, many performances recreated the life, activities, work and production of the Tay Van Ban people. Typical performances include: "Pounding rice dance", "Picking cotton and weaving fabric", "Seeing off the soldier", "Singing to welcome the bride", "Celebrating the new house"... The performances were creative, but still preserved the ancient lyrics and dances.

Award prizes to teams with high results.

The 3rd Tay Nom Singing Festival in 2023 of Van Ban district took place in a bustling atmosphere, attracting a large audience to watch and cheer. As a result, the Duong Quy commune art troupe won the first prize; the second prize went to the Chieng Ken and Khanh Yen Ha commune teams.

The organizing committee also awarded certificates to 10 A prize winners, 10 B prize winners and 15 C prize winners.
