Ho Chi Minh City Pipe Music and Puppetry Festival 2024

(CLO) The Ho Chi Minh City Brass Band and Dance Festival has the participation of 26 teams, with 1,100 professional artists, dancers and actors.

On the evening of December 27, at Le Loi Street (District 1), the Organizing Committee of Ho Chi Minh City's major holidays held the opening ceremony of the 2024 Pipe Music and Puppetry Festival.

The Festival of Pipe Music and Puppetry is a beneficial cultural and artistic activity, a typical event of Ho Chi Minh City. This is also an opportunity for the public and tourists to enjoy the puppetry performance, the lively and attractive musical instrument parade with skits and musical works.

The two festivals attracted the participation of 26 competing teams, with 1,100 professional artists, dancers and actors.

The opening program includes 3 chapters: "Colors of the homeland", "Spring flowers of the country" and "How surprising", staged by choreographer and director Le Viet, attracting 26 participating units with more than 1,100 trumpet artists, actors, musicians...

According to the Organizing Committee, the 2024 Ho Chi Minh City Brass Band Festival is a playground, creating conditions for brass bands, musicians, Military Ceremonial Groups... from the system of Cultural and Sports Centers, Children's Houses, Command, Conservatory, Military Region 7, Symphony and Ballet Theater... to exchange, learn experiences, and improve skills.

This is also an opportunity for units, artists, actors, and musicians to explore creative methods, perform, and parade art to serve the cultural life and healthy entertainment needs of the city's residents and tourists at the end of the year.

The festival promises to bring a creative cultural space with unique experiences. In particular, when coming to this playground, visitors and the public will enjoy the typical melodies of modern musical instruments such as: Trumpet, harmonica, saxophones, trumbone, clarinet...

Regarding the Puppetry Festival, this year there are 10 participating art units, with more than 100 puppet and circus artists parading on the streets, along with many unique performances, plays, and performances, bringing many cultural colors of the country and the world.

Street puppet parades are organized to educate, entertain and create excitement in the community; attract attention, create a vibrant and joyful atmosphere for residents and tourists.

The Puppetry Festival in Ho Chi Minh City also opens up a unique space for creativity and experience. Through each performance, the Festival is not only a place for visitors to discover the exquisite beauty of puppetry but also an opportunity to learn about the long-standing cultural values of this art form.
