At Ho Guom Theater, Hanoi , the Ministry of Public Security has just held the opening ceremony of the 5th National Stage Arts Festival on "The Image of the People's Public Security Soldier" - 2025.
This is an activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.
Attending the ceremony were: Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Head of the Festival Organizing Committee; Trinh Thi Thuy, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.
The festival with 25 plays by 21 art units inside and outside the police force focused on vividly portraying the image of the police soldier on the art stage; portraying the image of Uncle Ho with the People's Police and the People's Police studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings; praising the revolutionary nature and glorious heroic tradition of the Vietnamese police over 80 years of building, fighting and growing;
Commend and promote exemplary, intelligent and brave examples in the fight to protect national security and ensure social order and safety. This is also an opportunity for professional art units, artists and actors inside and outside the force to exchange experiences, discover and explore new creations on the topic of security and order and the image of the police officer.
In his opening speech, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To said: In response to the requirements of sustainable national development; the role and position of culture and arts in the work of building forces, as well as the requirements of improving the cultural and spiritual life of police officers and soldiers, the Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security always pay attention to leading and directing the organization of activities to create and promote literary and artistic works on the topic of the People's Public Security through festivals, performances, and creative campaigns.
From 2005 to present, the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Stage Artists Association, has successfully organized four professional stage festivals on the image of police officers, portraying a noble image and promoting the brave, humane and people-serving People's Police officers.
Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To believes that with a sense of responsibility, enthusiasm, and passion for art, 21 art units and artists and actors will devote all their talents to performing, contributing to the Art Festival and the public, officers and soldiers with unique and attractive art performances that will leave a good impression.
The closing ceremony of the festival is scheduled to take place on the evening of July 7 at the Ho Guom Theater. The competitions will take place at the Army Theater, 130 Ho Tung Mau Street, Hanoi.
