On the morning of July 16, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the high school graduation exam scores of more than one million candidates.
If you are still wondering about the results, you can Apply for review from July 16 to 25. Results will be returned no later than August 9.
Regarding the re-examination process, Literature is the only subject that requires an essay test, so it is re-examined by two examiners in two independent rounds. If the two examiners' scores are the same, that is the candidate's re-examination score.
In case of difference in scores between two examiners, the exam will be assigned to a third person to mark. If 2/3 of the examiners agree, that score will be taken; otherwise, the average of the three scores will be used.
If the re-examination score differs from the announced score by 0.25 or more, the candidate's score will be adjusted.
In multiple-choice tests, the board will compare each answer that the candidate has filled in on the test paper with the image stored in the scanner. If there is a discrepancy, the board will determine the cause, print the scoring results before and after the correction for records.
Candidates will be considered to have graduated from high school when they pass all the subjects, with no failing score (1 or lower). The graduation score includes the scores of the subjects the candidate takes the exam for (50%); the average score (GPA) of grades 10, 11 and 12 (50%) and priority and incentive points.
The formula is as follows:

In which, the average score of the school years is calculated according to the following formula:

With priority points, candidates will be added from 0.25 to 0.5 points if they are children of war invalids, sick soldiers, heroes of the people's armed forces, heroes of labor, ethnic minorities, people infected with toxic chemicals... Candidates with many priority criteria will enjoy the highest criteria, not cumulative.
Candidates will be awarded 1-2 bonus points if they win prizes in provincial-level competitions for excellent students or higher, practical experiments, arts, sports, science and technology competitions, etc. Similar to priority points, candidates will only receive one bonus point level for the highest prize, even if they win many prizes.
If the graduation score according to the above formula is 5 or higher, the student is recognized as graduating from high school.
