Familiar referees of V-League

Due to the importance of the play-off match, VFF and VPF invited two Malaysian referees to officiate the match (one main referee, one VAR referee).

That is referee Razlan Joffri Bin Ali, who has officiated two matches in the previous rounds of V-League 2024-2025. Including the match between Hanoi and Dong A Thanh Hoa (round 17) and the match between Song Lam Nghe An and Quang Nam (round 19). In round 21, referee Bin Ali will be the VAR referee.

Referee Muhammad Usaid Bin Jamal is also from Malaysia. This is the first match of this season in the V-League that referee Bin Jamal will be in charge of. Last season, he was the main referee for the match between Hanoi Police and HAGL in round 25 and the final match of the National Cup (Dong A Thanh Hoa vs. Hanoi FC).

The war between ambition and courage

Binh Phuoc Club – the representative of the first division – has played hard throughout the season to win a play-off position.

With a young, enthusiastic and eager squad to participate in the highest level of Vietnamese football for the first time, Binh Phuoc brings a new breeze and a fighting spirit that never backs down.

On the opposite side, Da Nang FC is a name with a rich tradition of winning the V-League, but is currently in a situation of having to fight to stay in the league. After a disappointing season, the Han River team must prove their mettle and class to avoid falling to the first division.

This is not only a technical competition but also a psychological challenge. Binh Phuoc has a mental advantage as it is not under as much pressure as its opponent. On the contrary, Da Nang has many experienced players who have competed in big tournaments.

The confrontation between the two teams promises to witness an exciting battle of wits on the coaching bench. Will the Binh Phuoc coach continue to believe in a solid defensive counter-attacking style of play, or will he take a risk in search of an early goal?

The play-off match between Binh Phuoc and Da Nang is not simply a football match – it is a battle for the honor, future and faith of an entire team, a locality. A match that promises to be breathtaking, where every little detail can decide the fate of the entire season.
