Specifically, in the group that assaulted the 15-year-old female student, there were: TNYN (grade 11, Tan Thong Hoi High School), and NHKA (grade 11, Quang Trung High School).

The other two students, GM (a second-year student at a university in Ho Chi Minh City) and GH, have dropped out of school.

From this incident, on the evening of August 30, KA's group contacted a classmate to take BH to Phuoc Vinh An commune, Cu Chi district. There, KA's group of 3 people beat BH as reported in the clip online.

15-year-old female student is haunted and offered to sell assault clip for 3 million VND

Mr. NVH (father of female student KA) confirmed that his daughter was being questioned by the police. Mr. H. added: “When we learned about the incident, we were shocked and worried about BH’s health. Since seeing the clip, I have continuously contacted BH’s family to ask about her health and show my goodwill, but have not received any response from the family.”

Ms. NTTT (mother of the BH female student who was beaten by a group) said that on the evening of August 30, her daughter was invited by a classmate to go out but was "tricked" into taking her to a deserted area in Phuoc Vinh An commune, Cu Chi district, so that the KA group could beat her up.

“My family did not know anything about the beating. At home, my child also hid it for fear of retaliation. I was busy with business so I rarely talked to my child and he was very independent. The climax was on his birthday, September 24, when I saw him locking himself in his room and always wanting to go back to his hometown,” Ms. T. confided.

Mrs. T. continued, in recent days, she saw that her child was showing signs of abnormality, often having headaches, mumbling to himself, not wanting to talk to anyone and looking scared when talking about school and friends. Thinking that her child was under pressure from studying and wanted to go back to his hometown to rest, Mrs. T. agreed to her child's wish and let him take a break from school to go back to his hometown for a while.

At noon on September 27, Ms. T. sent her granddaughter BH to her hometown in Binh Phuoc with relatives. About 2 hours after her daughter left, Ms. T. asked her daughter's friends and learned that her daughter had been beaten by a group of people and that a male student had even forced her to sell the assault clip for 3 million VND.

“When I received the clip of my child being beaten, I trembled and did not dare to watch the whole thing. There were so many friends beating my child. Seeing my child only holding his head while his friends kept hitting him on the head, neck… I could not hold back my tears,” Ms. T. is still upset.

Ms. T. confirmed that she posted the clip of her daughter being assaulted on social media to ask for help.

On September 28, Ms. T. took her child to the police station to report the incident. The police also invited relevant people to come and give statements to clarify and handle the case.
