Fear of losing money when there are many customers

Many people who trade in the market, open small shops or run their own businesses are used to the scene of “holding a tray, glancing at the phone, and worrying about the books”. In the context of increasingly popular bank transfer payments, small traders often fall into awkward situations: Customers report money transfers but have not seen the message, or the shop is crowded and cannot check in time. A moment of carelessness can lead to misunderstandings, loss of reputation, and even loss of money.

Ms. Hanh Van, owner of a snail noodle shop at Dong Xuan market ( Hanoi ), shared that after nearly 10 years of selling, she has never gotten used to the situation of "one hand in the kitchen, one hand in the money". The shop is small, there is no assistant, she does all the work herself, so mistakes often happen.

“There were days when there were many customers, I was eating noodles and looking at my phone. Some customers said they had sent the food but hadn’t received it yet, so I had to ask for the account number to check. It was time-consuming and embarrassing for the customers,” she said.

Many small traders fall into "half-crying, half-laughing" situations because they do not have time to check transactions.

Ms. Van's case is not unique. Work pressure, lack of support staff, and noisy spaces make it easy for sellers to miss transaction notifications, even unintentionally creating loopholes for criminals.

According to experts in the field of finance and banking, scams are becoming more and more sophisticated: from faking screenshots of successful transfers, transferring the wrong amount and then trying to get a refund of the difference, to taking advantage of busy times to "leave" without paying. Recently, the situation of pasting fraudulent QR codes on top of the real codes of the shops has appeared, causing the money transferred by customers to fall straight into the pockets of the bad guys. If not detected in time, small businesses can "lose" an entire day's revenue.

“Ting ting” safely thanks to digital technology

To deal with payment fraud, many small businesses are forced to resort to manual measures such as hiring more staff, requiring customers to pay in advance, or accepting only cash. However, these methods are only temporary and cannot completely prevent fraud.

To support small businesses, many financial institutions have introduced technology devices that notify balance changes by sound (Voice Payment). For example, the SHB payment speaker is an outstanding solution. With a compact design, connecting directly to the bank account via Wi-Fi or 4G, the device will emit a notification sound every time a transaction is successful. Thanks to that, the seller does not need to check the phone or banking application to know exactly when the money has arrived, avoiding confusion or fraud.

SHB payment speakers are being used by many businesses.

The difference of SHB speakers is that money is transferred directly to SHB accounts, without intermediaries like e-wallets, so there is no need to worry about holding money or losing fees. The QR code is clearly displayed on the LED screen, without worrying about blurring, and can be integrated with sales software to create convenient dynamic QR. The device is easy to activate via the SHB SAHA digital banking application, allowing flexible volume adjustment and listening to the most recent transaction.

Mr. Tuan - the owner of a small coffee shop in Hai Phong - used to be confused many times because he didn't have time to check the transaction. Since using the SHB payment speaker, his work has become more convenient. Every time a customer transfers money, the speaker automatically reads: "Tinggg. Money has arrived... thousand dong". Mr. Tuan happily shared: "The speaker is small but powerful, like having an assistant by his side. Hearing 'ting ting' means I know the money has arrived, I can confidently serve customers!"

Many attractive offers

In order to accompany businesses in modernizing payment methods, from now until December 31, 2025, SHB is implementing an attractive incentive program "Easy transactions, receive great gifts with SHB Speaker". Accordingly, the first 1,000 customers who open a payment account and register for the SHB Payment Speaker service package will immediately receive 68,000 VND in cash - as a wish for "prosperity" at the beginning of the year, the beginning of the digital transformation journey.

Not stopping there, when there are at least 10 credit transactions via QR Code (from at least 3 different accounts, each transaction from 100,000 VND) and maintaining an average balance of 3 million VND, customers will also receive an additional E-voucher worth 100,000 VND.

A series of attractive incentives for businesses when using SHB payment speakers

Retailers who register for 3-12 month service packages will receive an additional 1-4 months of use, helping to significantly save on equipment rental or purchase costs. In particular, the first 500 customers who commit to maintaining their account balance according to regulations will also receive a 12-month trial package - including speakers, SIMs, and free data - without incurring any additional fees.

SHB representative affirmed: “With the payment speaker, we not only provide a smart tool to help small businesses easily confirm transactions, manage cash flow, and prevent fraud, but also contribute to bringing business households closer to the trend of comprehensive digital transformation according to the Government's roadmap.”

With reasonable cost, simple usage and practical incentives, SHB payment speakers are gradually becoming a powerful assistant for thousands of small traders, from small roadside cafes to stalls in traditional markets. Now, each "ting ting" is not only the sound of money coming in, but also peace of mind in business.
