Long An: Meeting to celebrate 72 years of Traditional Photography Day - Vietnam Cinema

On the afternoon of March 14, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association held a meeting with members on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Photography and Cinema (March 15, 1953 - March 15, 2025).

In the intimate atmosphere of the meeting, the members reviewed together the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Photography - Cinema in general and the formation and development of the Photography - Cinema Industry of Long An province in particular.

Up to now, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in the province has nearly 60 active members, with many individuals being awarded noble photography titles such as "Excellent Photographer", "Excellent Photographer"... The hallmark of the association is the Long An Art Photography Contest, my hometown, which has been held for 36 years, attracting tens of thousands of members and photography enthusiasts to participate.

Long An Cinema and Television Association currently has 37 members. In general, over the past time, television works have reflected the people's lives, met the public's increasing demand for art enjoyment as well as effectively served the province's political tasks.

Photographer Duong Hoang Hanh received a certificate of merit from the Provincial People's Committee.

On this occasion, photographer Duong Hoang Hanh was awarded a certificate of merit by the Provincial People's Committee for winning a Silver medal in the Pride of a Border Range Photo Contest organized by the Central Propaganda Department in 2024. In addition, the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts also presented 2 gifts to support 2 disadvantaged members of both branches.
